About the Health Care Industry Council
Purpose
The Health Care Industry Council is a multi-stakeholder organization dedicated to linking high quality research to policy and practice. We seek to build a dialogue among health care managers, workers, researchers and policy-makers. To provide an evidence base for this dialogue, we offer a clearinghouse of high quality research. This research promotes one or more of the following goals:
- To enhance health care delivery (quality, safety, efficiency, access)
- To enhance health care work (quality, desirability, financing)
- To understand macro trends that affect health care delivery
